Spaying, Neutering & Rabies Vaccination Campaign 2025 – Jajarkot

Our veterinary team conducted a comprehensive spay/neuter and rabies vaccination campaign in one of Nepal's most remote districts. The initiative focused on humane population management, disease prevention, and improving the health and well-being of community and stray dogs.

T.F.C. Nepal proudly organized the Spaying, Neutering & Rabies Vaccination Campaign 2025 in Jajarkot, Karnali Province, bringing essential veterinary services to one of Nepal's most remote communities.

During the campaign, our dedicated veterinarians and volunteers successfully performed 190 dog sterilization surgeries, including 99 female and 91 male dogs. In addition, 229 dogs received free rabies vaccinations, helping protect both animals and local communities from the spread of rabies.

This initiative was designed to promote humane street dog population management, reduce unnecessary suffering, and improve the long-term health of community animals. By preventing uncontrolled breeding and increasing vaccination coverage, we are helping create safer and healthier communities for both people and animals.

Beyond providing veterinary services, our team also engaged with local residents to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the importance of sterilization, and regular vaccination. Community participation played a vital role in the success of the campaign.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners, SPCA International Global Animal Rescue, Nepal Street Animal Rescue, local community members, and all volunteers whose support made this mission possible. Together, we continue working toward a future where every animal receives the care, protection, and respect it deserves.
